Hi, looks cool, I don't know much about photography, but if I have to give a crit, maybe blur the background a bit more to let the detail of the flower stand out more.

I like it! I think keeping the green leaves just above the flower to the left is nice but everything else is blurred. Nice work

KittyKat - Sorry none of these plants in the UK, too cold for them here.
The photo was taken on Langkawi, Malaysia while I was on holiday
over Christmas.....

Open up the aperture to blur the background even more. Another angle might have helped to bring out your theme. Quite good.
